  • In this faculty webinar, Coordinator of Undergraduate Writing Initiatives Hillary Wentworth discusses the writing support available to Walden’s undergraduate students and faculty. This will include an overview of web-based resources, one-to-one support, and our undergraduate faculty space. Hillary also discusses results of an undergraduate faculty survey conducted by the Writing Center .

Activating Student Writing Skills Through AWE (2/5/13) [Open in Internet Explorer]

  • In this webinar, CUGS Academic Coordinator Dr. Laurel Walsh will discuss the Academic Writing Expectations (AWE) documents that are part of Walden's undergraduate courses. Participants will learn how best to apply these expectations and how they will impact grading and instruction. Writing Center representative Amber Cook offers advice for providing writing feedback and Writing Center referrals at each of the AWE levels.
