People in a library.

How Much does it cost?

This is free for all contributing and core faculty at Walden University.

How do I get to the education?

Click into the professional development area. If you have not been in the library or completed an evaluation previously, you will need to register before you enter the library (this allows your name to be printed on your contact hour certificate –and keeps a record of what you attended in case you need any certificates in the future).

I can’t remember my password –Can you reset it for me?

Our system allows you to reset your password if you have forgotten it.

Do I need to download my certificate?

After you complete the evaluation, you can either download your certificate or you can print it out. The system maintains a record for you –so, you will always have a transcript of all of the activities you completed.

I took something three months ago, but now I can’t find the certificate –help!

In the blue banner at the top of the page, you will see an area “My CE” – you will be able to reprint any certificates that you have obtained and also print a transcript if needed of all of the educational sessions where you have received contact hours.

I have a student that would really benefit from this education – can they access this?

Some of our sessions are indeed great for students-and may even be directed towards them. Please contact Dr Hazel Dennison (email below) to find out if that session can be sent to a student.

What is our Provider Number?

The Walden University provider number is printed on all of our contact hour certificates for nursing and as directed by our accreditors for each discipline.

Why isn’t everything that is created by CFE offered for professional development credits?

First, the education needs to enhance the knowledge, skills or practices of the faculty member. Second, documentation is required to meet accreditation standards for each accrediting body. With all of the faculty education that CFE provides, it may not be possible to obtain documentation and offer continuing education for each activity.
