Center for Faculty Excellence

Academic Integrity

Participating in higher education is both a privilege and a responsibility. In our roles as scholars, teachers, mentors, researchers, and administrators, we subscribe to a set of values that ensure our contributions are honest and trustworthy. At Walden, we expect the highest level of personal responsibility and accountability of our students, faculty and staff.

  • The Office of Research and Doctoral Services (ORDS) formulates, coordinates, and oversees the processes that support student research capstones as well as external research conducted under the auspices of the University.
  • The Office of Student Affairs team partners with colleges and centers within the university to support implementing policies, procedures and practices that contribute to an effective learning environment for all students. Their site provides Academic Integrity resources for students, including the Walden University Academic Integrity Student Tutorial

For additional Academic Integrity resources, such as the Academic Integrity Inquiry Letter and SafeAssign and Turnitin training, faculty and staff can visit the Office of Teaching and Learning Excellence's (OTLE) Academic Integrity page in SharePoint.
